How to remove the water scale in the Zojirushi water boiler?

If your Zojirushi water boiler is blocked and can’t release the water, you need to find a way to remove the water scale accumulated inside. The water scale is mostly caused by too hard water that is not suitable for this precious boiler. There are many different methods to dissolve and remove scale from the boiler inside.

There are white residues on the inner wall of the Zojirushi water boiler after heating. This is not the reason for the Zojirushi boiler. This is the case when the kettle is used for a long time or the electric heater is used for a long time. The white residue produced is scale. Some of the fungicides used in the water plant have not been cleaned, and there are some calcium and magnesium ions in the water, which precipitate out of the water at high temperatures and adhere to the surface of the kettle. You only need to use a small amount of vinegar to clean it, don’t worry

A small amount of scale can be boiled away with white vinegar. If it is thick, go to the supermarket to buy a descaling agent. Some descaling powder or potion can work effectively to dissolve the scale.

We also recommend using edible vinegar (white vinegar is sufficient), shake it evenly for a few minutes, add warm water, and soak for a period of time. It will fall off quickly.

How long does it take to clean the Zojirushi water boiler with citric acid? You can press and hold the boil button until the display flashes, then enter the cleaning mode to start cleaning. The cleaning is completed in about 90 minutes.

If you are using the Zojirushi water boiler, you should check the following questions frequently asked by other users. Just return to refer to these solutions if you have these problems in the future.

Why does My Zojirushi boiler pot have the water scale every day?

This is a water quality problem, and it is normal. It has nothing to do with the Zojirushi electric water boiler. In this case, you should keep cleaning the boiler tank as often as possible. The tap water should be simply filtered and disinfected.

What’s wrong with the paint on the inner tank?

It is a product quality problem, and the paint on the inner tank is not allowed or impossible.

I bought the Zojirushi pot and tried it with a magnet today, but the inner wall can be sucked. Is this normal?

It depends on the stainless steel material. To be precise, it is the content of iron and nickel in the stainless steel. In particular, nickel is an important parameter for the quality of stainless steel. Of course, it is also one of the important factors that determine the price. The content of nickel is high, and it can be absorbed by magnets, just like the stainless steel pot used in induction cookers. If there is no magnetism, It can’t be used. You can try the stainless steel pot special for the induction cooker. If you want a big brand, it must have a good magnetic absorption ability.
